Hi, I am attorney Theresa DeGray. As a lawyer, I work with clients to help them through some of the most difficult experiences of their lives. This is a responsibility that I take seriously, and I pride myself on my ability to strategize and protect my clients.
About Me
I am admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I am also a member of the Federal Bar for both the Districts of Connecticut and Massachusetts. I started my education as an undergraduate at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. I majored in English and Legal Studies. I then worked for several years as a paralegal before heading to Law School at the University of Massachusetts. During that time, I developed the skills to work with marital law.
I have been working with matrimonial law since 2007, handling many types of family situations, including divorce. Because I have been working with divorce cases for so long, I know how to achieve an outcome that is in the best interest of the entire family.
At my office, I offer mediation services to help couples get through the divorce process. However, there are some situations where mediation is not an appropriate option. If this is the case, I can provide aggressive representation in divorce litigation. In either situation, I work tirelessly to give each of my clients my utmost attention and support. Attention to detail and going the extra mile for my clients is an important value to me. That is why I am flexible in my availability. If you need to meet after hours or on the weekend, I can work with you to make this happen.
